Counsellor
Welcome, I’m Rose. Taking the first step towards therapy can feel daunting — but you don’t have to do it alone. I offer a warm, down-to-earth space where you can pause, breathe, and begin to make sense of whatever you’re going through.
I work integratively, with a foundation in person-centred counselling, where you are the expert in your own life. This means I walk alongside you with compassion, curiosity and care, adapting sessions to meet your needs. I also draw on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for focused, short-term work on specific issues.
Before becoming a counsellor, I spent 35 years in the hospitality sector, where I witnessed workplace stress and anxiety first-hand. This shaped my commitment to supporting people not only through personal difficulties, but also through the pressures of work and life transitions.
I have a particular passion for supporting women through the menopause transition, helping them navigate anxiety, low mood, identity shifts, and sleep challenges. I also support clients with anxiety, depression, grief, abuse recovery, low self-esteem, and relationship difficulties.
