BABCP Accredited CBT Psychotherapist and EMDR Practitioner
I bring a professional background in both psychiatry and general medicine, with extensive experience supporting people facing a wide range of psychological and physical challenges. Since training as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist in 2009, I have worked in the NHS, private practice, and residential rehabilitation, helping people with depression, anxiety disorders, OCD, PTSD, phobias and addictions.
Alongside individual therapy, I have facilitated therapeutic groups in a rehabilitation centre, and previously worked as a CBT Psychotherapist at the University of Cambridge Counselling Service. I continue to support both staff and students within several colleges at the University of Cambridge, as well as seeing clients in private practice.
I am also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing), a highly effective therapy for PTSD and a range of anxiety disorders. My approach is collaborative and evidence-based, aimed at helping clients make meaningful changes and strengthen resilience.
