Cambridge Therapy Collective is a community of independent, accredited therapists working together to offer high-quality psychological support in central Cambridge and online.
We believe that therapy should be accessible, grounded in evidence, and tailored to the needs of each person. Our collective brings together practitioners from a range of therapeutic backgrounds — including CBT, EMDR, Mindfulness, integrative counselling, psychotherapy, coaching, and psychological interventions — united by shared values of compassion, clinical excellence, and professional integrity.
Each therapist operates independently while contributing to a shared ethos of care, respect, and collaboration. We recognise that seeking therapy is a personal and often courageous step, and we aim to create a calm, welcoming space where clients feel safe, seen, and supported.
We also understand the importance of connection and community among therapists. Cambridge Therapy Collective was founded to support practitioners not only with beautiful rooms and flexible working arrangements, but with a sense of belonging — a place to practise with autonomy while staying rooted in shared purpose.
Cambridge Therapy Collective has grown organically over 15 years of shared clinical practice, collaboration, and a commitment to psychological wellbeing.
We began in 2010 with our first centre in Trumpington, as a small team of psychologists and psychotherapists dedicated to providing evidence-based support through the Cambridge Centre for CBT and Cambridge Mindfulness. These sister services developed in parallel, rooted in cognitive behavioural approaches and mindfulness-based interventions, offering therapeutic support to individuals, families, and professionals across the region.
As our team grew, so did the scope of our work. In 2016, we opened a second centre in Mill Road and formally expanded the collective to include counselling and coaching. This phase marked the birth of Cambridge Flourishing, reflecting our belief in supporting not only clinical recovery but also personal growth, resilience, and fulfilment.
Now, in our fifteenth year of practice, we have moved into a new chapter. Our home is a beautifully refurbished centre in the heart of Cambridge — a historic setting overlooking King’s Parade, purposefully restored to create a calm, welcoming therapeutic space. Alongside our in-person work, we continue to offer sessions online, expanding our reach while staying rooted in the community we serve.
From our beginnings as two small practices to the multidisciplinary collective we are today, our mission has remained constant: to offer high-quality, ethical, and compassionate psychological support, grounded in evidence and shaped by connection.
