Hello my name is Nick and I work as an Integrative Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor. Are you looking for someone who will listen to you with empathy and without judgement? As someone who has sought support in the past, I understand how difficult it can be to reach out and make contact with someone you do not know. My approach to helping you is to work along side you and what you are experiencing. I draw on my core approaches to suit your situation and requirement. My focus is on you and supporting you in a way that enables you to move out of discomfort, and move forward from stuckness and other thoughts/feelings caused by your present or past. Session lengths are for one (1) hour. We have initial contact via email or over the phone, and if we both wish to go ahead I will book in our first session. I have worked within caring and person focused settings for over 15 years. In this time I have been a Staff Support Counsellor within the NHS, a Student Counsellor, a Volunteer Counsellor for adults, a Support line worker, a Mentor, a Youth Worker/Mental Health Worker, and a Key Worker for vulnerable adults and young people. I have supported people across different settings, communities, and cultures. I am also involved in work with a focus on Equality, Diversity and Inclusion. If you would like to know more about how I work and how I can support you then please feel free to get in touch.
