BABCP Accredited Cognitive and Behavioural Psychotherapist
Sometimes life presents challenges that leave us feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from ourselves. I believe therapy can provide a safe, compassionate space to explore difficulties, alleviate stress, and learn new ways of responding to life’s challenges. My aim is to help people identify and shift unhelpful patterns, build resilience, and reconnect with meaning and confidence in their lives.
I first studied Medical Anthropology and Cultural Psychiatry, drawn by a lifelong interest in how people across cultures seek healing and flourishing. This passion evolved into psychotherapy, where I have now worked for over 15 years across NHS, academic, and private practice settings.
I am a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, Interpersonal Psychotherapy Therapist, and Integrative Counsellor. Alongside my clinical practice, I lecture and supervise on the PGDip CBT programme at the University of East Anglia and have previously co-managed a large team of CBT therapists in the NHS.
I draw from a range of approaches, including CBT, IPT, Compassion Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, and Biodynamic Breathwork. My style is integrative and collaborative, with a focus on compassion, empowerment, and growth.
