Tami Oren
Integrative Relational Counsellor offering trauma-informed, compassionate support for adults navigating anxiety, identity, relationships, and life transitions.
I’m a qualified integrative relational counsellor offering a warm, non-judgemental space where you can talk openly and work through whatever feels difficult right now. Whether you’re feeling anxious, struggling with self-esteem, navigating grief, ADHD, menopause, or the impact of past experiences, no feeling is too big or too small to bring to therapy.
I work with adults and young adults from all backgrounds, adapting my approach to suit you as an individual. At the heart of my work is emotional safety, trust, and a genuine therapeutic relationship where you feel heard, respected, and supported.
How I work
My approach is integrative, relational, and trauma-informed. I draw on person-centred therapy, psychodynamic thinking, transactional analysis, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS), blending these approaches in a way that fits your needs and pace.
IFS offers a gentle way of understanding the different “parts” of ourselves and how they influence our thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. This can help foster greater self-compassion, clarity, and choice in how you respond to life.
When helpful, I also use creative tools — such as therapeutic cards, stones, sand tray, or online resources — to support expression, particularly when words feel hard to find.

Professional background & experience
My work is grounded in a deep respect for each person’s lived experience. As a Certified Grief Educator, I offer compassionate support for all forms of grief, whether recent or long-standing, helping clients make sense of its impact and find ways to move forward.
I see my role as a partner in the therapeutic process — walking alongside you with empathy, curiosity, and care. At times, I may act as an anchor, offering steadiness when things feel uncertain. Over time, therapy can support deeper self-understanding, new perspectives, and change that feels real and lasting.
