Join the Collective

Cambridge Therapy Collective is a professional community for therapists who value thoughtful practice, collegiality, and integrity.

Some of our members work from our rooms in central Cambridge. Others join us for connection, learning, and shared reflection alongside their wider professional lives. What brings us together is not a single modality or way of working, but a shared commitment to care, curiosity, and ethical practice.

We have created different ways of being part of the Collective, recognising that therapists engage at different stages, rhythms, and levels of availability.

A Community, not just a Directory

Therapeutic work can be deeply rewarding — and also, at times, isolating.
The Collective exists to offer a professional home where therapists can remain connected, supported, and resourced, without pressure to fit a particular mould.

Being part of the Collective is not about exposure or productivity, but about staying in relationship with peers and practice over time.
The emphasis is on thoughtful presence, care, and continuity, rather than outward markers of success.
It is about belonging, dialogue, and professional nourishment.

Ways of being part of the Collective

“Working as a therapist can be surprisingly lonely. Being part of the Collective has brought a sense of professional companionship that I didn’t realise I was missing.”

How Membership Works

Membership is by enquiry or invitation, allowing us to ensure alignment in values, professional standards, and ways of working. Members may move between pathways over time, as their practice and circumstances evolve.

We take care to ensure that all members of the Collective meet appropriate professional and ethical standards.

  • “Even after moving my practice elsewhere, the sense of belonging I experienced through the Collective stayed with me. It shaped how I think about professional community.”
