Paul Murphy
Person-Centred Counsellor offering a compassionate, non-judgemental space for adults experiencing emotional and relational difficulties.
I am a qualified person-centred counsellor, working from the core values of empathy, congruence, and unconditional positive regard. In practice, this means offering a caring, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where you can feel truly heard and understood.
Counselling with me is shaped around you and your pace. I aim to create a safe and open space in which you can explore whatever is on your mind and begin to find greater clarity and a way forward.
How I work
My approach is collaborative and respectful, with the belief that you are the expert in your own experience. I work alongside you, supporting exploration of the issues that may be causing distress or holding you back, without judgement or pressure.
Through this process, counselling can help you develop deeper self-understanding, reconnect with your strengths, and move towards change that feels authentic and sustainable.
