Roxanna Anderson

Person-centred Counsellor offering trauma-informed, compassionate support for children, young people, and adults navigating loss, trauma, and emotional distress.

I am a person-centred counsellor offering a calm and supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and gently encouraged to explore your experiences. My own journey into counselling began through first-hand experience of the positive change therapy can bring, which inspired me to support others in finding their own paths towards healing and self-understanding.

I aim to offer a nurturing and respectful therapeutic relationship where you feel safe to bring whatever feels most important for you.

How I work

My approach is collaborative and trauma-informed, grounded in empathy, honesty, and respect. We work together at your pace, focusing on what feels most relevant in the present moment — whether that involves processing difficult emotions, making sense of past experiences, or finding clarity and grounding in the here and now.

I believe therapy can offer not only relief from distress, but also a deeper sense of connection, empowerment, and self-compassion.
