Julia Bright

Integrative Psychotherapist specialising in eating- and weight-related difficulties, supporting adults to build a healthier and more compassionate relationship with food and self.

I am an integrative psychotherapist with a particular interest in eating and weight-related difficulties. My work draws on psychological, nutritional, and behavioural approaches to support meaningful and lasting change. Informed by both professional training and lived experience, I bring empathy, realism, and understanding to the therapeutic process.

I offer a reflective and supportive space in which clients can explore their relationship with food, body, and self, and begin to move away from cycles of struggle, guilt, or self-criticism towards greater balance and self-acceptance.

How I work

My approach is integrative and collaborative. Together, we explore patterns of eating and coping with curiosity and compassion, making sense of the thoughts, emotions, and life experiences that may sit beneath them.

Therapy with me is not about quick fixes or rigid plans, but about understanding, healing, and empowerment. By focusing on strengths, values, and practical self-care, we aim to create sustainable change — freeing energy from constant struggle and supporting a more peaceful and confident way of living.

Where helpful, I integrate psychoeducation, guided emotional awareness, and structured behavioural support, always shaped around your needs and readiness.
