Emma Foltynie
Integrative Therapeutic Counsellor and Breathwork Coach offering trauma-informed, holistic support for adults experiencing anxiety, low mood, and burnout.
As an integrative therapeutic counsellor, I draw on a range of counselling models — including breathwork when it feels appropriate and comfortable — to create a personalised approach that fits your needs. My work is trauma-informed and holistic, recognising the emotional, psychological, and physical impact of life experiences.
Whatever brings you to therapy, we will look at it together in a safe and compassionate way, going at your pace. At the heart of my work is a trusted, non-judgemental relationship, where you feel supported to explore what is happening for you now and, where helpful, to make sense of your past.
How I work
I work relationally and collaboratively, with the belief that you are the expert in your own life. My role is to support and accompany you as you navigate life’s challenges, helping you to reconnect with your inner resources and develop greater understanding, resilience, and self-compassion.
My approach is experiential and embodied, drawing on talking therapy alongside somatic and breath-based practices where appropriate. Therapy is always shaped around your needs, comfort, and readiness.
