Cheryl Dias

Indian Head Massage Holistic Therapist offering restorative, relaxation-focused treatments to support wellbeing and balance.

Today, perhaps more than ever, there is a real need for self-awareness — recognising the signs of stress and making space to pause, rest, and reconnect with our own needs. As a holistic therapist, I aim to offer a calm and supportive space in which people can step out of the demands of daily life and experience deep relaxation and restoration.

I work with Indian Head Massage to support general wellbeing, relaxation, and balance, using gentle, nurturing techniques within a tranquil setting.

How I work

Indian Head Massage is a deeply relaxing treatment that focuses on the head, neck, shoulders, and upper back. My approach combines skilled massage techniques, aromatic oils, and gentle music to create a soothing experience that supports relaxation, release of tension, and a sense of overall harmony.

I work holistically, with an awareness of the body’s natural capacity to restore balance. Treatments are tailored to the individual, with care taken to respond to personal needs, comfort, and preferences.

Professional background & approach

I qualified as an Indian Head Massage Therapist over eleven years ago and have since worked in a range of community and studio settings, including Clay Farm Centre and Dias Studios in Trumpington. I am delighted to offer treatments at Cambridge Therapy Rooms, whose calm and serene environment supports holistic healing and wellbeing.

Alongside my holistic practice, my professional background includes extensive public-facing and person-centred roles. I have worked as a nurse, researcher, business worker, and support coordinator for a national charity, as well as in a clinical role at Addenbrooke’s Hospital supporting patients and families affected by head injury.

Working closely with adults across the lifespan — including those who are unwell or elderly — has deepened my respect for individual differences and strengthened my listening, empathy, and communication skills. Gaining a Certificate in Communication in Health and Social Care has further informed my work, alongside community volunteering with vulnerable adults.
