Lollita Masuku

BACP Registered Counsellor | Integrative Psychotherapist in Training with UKCP

I work with people who often carry a great deal internally. Many appear to cope well on the outside, while feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or difficult to fully understand on the inside.

My background is in working with individuals and families facing complex and emotionally demanding circumstances. This has given me a strong understanding of how people learn to hold things together for others, often at the cost of themselves.

In therapy, I offer a calm, thoughtful, and containing space where you don’t have to perform, explain everything perfectly, or have the “right” words. We can take time to explore what feels unclear, uncomfortable, or hard to name, and begin to make sense of it together.

How I work

I work in a relational and integrative way, with a focus on creating a space where you feel safe enough to slow down and explore your inner world.

Therapy with me is not about rushing to solutions, but about developing a deeper understanding of your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Together, we can gently explore patterns, emotions, and ways of being that may feel difficult to articulate or fully understand on your own.

I pay particular attention to creating a space that feels containing, steady, and attuned, where you can begin to feel more connected to yourself and your experience.

Professional background & academic work

I have experience working with individuals and families in complex and emotionally demanding contexts, supporting people who are often managing a great deal internally while maintaining responsibilities externally.

This background informs my sensitivity to the pressures people can carry, and my commitment to offering a space where those experiences can be explored with care, thoughtfulness, and respect.

I am currently training as an integrative psychotherapist, deepening my clinical practice and understanding.
