HCPC Practitioner Psychologist offering CBT, DBT, ACT, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Somatic Experiencing Therapy for adults and couples

I am a Chartered Psychologist and integrative psychotherapist with over thirty years' experience working across both government and private clinical settings. I offer a warm, collaborative, and non-judgemental therapeutic space where individuals and couples can explore life's challenges, make sense of difficult experiences, and develop lasting emotional wellbeing.

How I work

My approach is integrative, evidence-based, and tailored to the unique needs of each person or couple. I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Somatic Experiencing, integrating these thoughtfully to support meaningful and sustainable change.

My work is informed by attachment theory and an understanding of how our early experiences shape relationships, emotional wellbeing, and the way we respond to stress. Alongside psychological therapy, I incorporate body-based approaches to help clients regulate their nervous systems, process trauma safely, and reconnect with a greater sense of stability and resilience.

I believe therapy should provide a secure, compassionate relationship where people feel understood, supported, and empowered to move beyond patterns that no longer serve them.
