Anna Lees

BABCP-accredited CBT Psychotherapist and EMDR Practitioner supporting adults with anxiety, trauma, OCD, and addictions.

I bring a professional background in both psychiatry and general medicine, with extensive experience supporting people facing a wide range of psychological and physical challenges. Since training as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist in 2009, I have worked across the NHS, private practice, and residential rehabilitation, supporting individuals to make meaningful and sustainable change.

How I work

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and firmly grounded in evidence-based practice. I work alongside clients to develop a shared understanding of their difficulties and to build practical skills that support resilience, confidence, and long-term wellbeing.

Alongside CBT, I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing), a highly effective therapy for PTSD and a range of anxiety-related difficulties. I integrate these approaches thoughtfully, according to each person’s needs and goals.

Areas I support

  • Anxiety and depression

  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

  • Post-traumatic stress and trauma

  • Addictions

  • Specific phobias (including dental phobia)

Who I work with
