Mabel Martinelli

HCPC Practitioner Psychologist offering CBT, EMDR, and integrative psychological therapy for adults, alongside supervision, teaching, and consultancy.

I am a Psychologist with nearly thirty years’ experience working across education, clinical practice, leadership, and research, both in the UK and internationally. I offer a reflective, collaborative therapeutic space in which people can explore difficulties, deepen understanding, and develop meaningful and sustainable change.

How I work

My core clinical specialism sits within the umbrella of Cognitive and Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I work clinically with individuals, supervise other clinicians, and lecture at postgraduate level. Alongside this, I have undertaken specialist training in EMDR, mindfulness-based and third-wave approaches, including Compassionate Mind Training and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which I integrate thoughtfully according to each person’s needs, values, and context.

I am particularly interested in what enables people not only to cope, but to flourish. This curiosity has shaped my work over many years and continues to inform how I think about therapy, growth, and wellbeing.
