Mythic Imagination - A storytelling workshop with Marianne Powell
As part of the Cambridge Therapy Collective Spring Gathering on Sunday 22 March, we are delighted to welcome storyteller and artist Marianne Powell for a special workshop exploring myth, imagination and storytelling.
Mythic Imagination with Marianne Powell
A storytelling workshop to spark curiosity and create connection
Sunday 22 March – 12:00 to 13:30
How can storytelling invite deeper imagination and curiosity?
During this workshop, Marianne will introduce a selection of local and global stories drawn from the oral storytelling tradition. Participants will then have an opportunity to reflect, create and discuss the themes and ideas that arise — both individually and in small groups.
The session is inspired by the work of Clarissa Pinkola Estés and Sharon Blackie, Jungian writers who have explored the role of myth and story in personal development.
Although some of the books referenced focus on women’s experience, the session is open to all participants.
